In the medical profession, it’s not uncommon for a clinician to also be an avid researcher. However, it’s rare to find a physician who has not only mastered his field in academics and clinical care, but also as an entrepreneur.  Internationally renowned neuroradiologist Bradley A. Jabour, MD, and Chief of Radiology at Smart Heart and Health in Santa Monica, California, is doing that and more.

Dr. Jabour has taken his extensive knowledge gained from more than three decades of clinical and academic experience and created numerous pioneering medical ventures including Smart Heart and Health. At Smart Heart and Health, through a groundbreaking preventive imaging program, Dr. Jabour helps patients gain a glimpse into future medical issues such as cancer and systemic abnormalities and diseases way before any symptoms emerge.

His leadership in the field of radiology and neuroradiology has earned Dr. Jabour numerous accolades and awards throughout his career. Among his most prestigious accomplishments is the discovery of a new method for the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease using a computerized tomography (CT) coronary angiogram.

Dr. Jabour is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and is active in numerous medical societies, including the California Radiology Society, the American Society of Head and Neck Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the Society for Spine Radiology.

When Dr. Jabour isn’t helping patients, he can be found sharing his knowledge with other physicians as a guest lecturer or serving as a medical expert on television shows such as “Dr. Phil” and “The Doctors.”
